Babylon has had four foals - one owned by Mary Chipperfield who trains circus horses which shows the good nature and trainability of the offspring, important in every discipline. The second and third foals, CFS Avalon and CFS Baluq, have been bought by Sapphire Arabians as a future show stallions and we wish them both every success.
Babylon has 5 repeats to
the great stallion NAZEER .
Babylon is believed to be the sole
purebred arabian pregenorator to Dafinia
the gift mare from King Ibn Saud of Saudi Arabia, gifted to lady
Wentworth in 1927
Dafina
* 1926 Grey Mare
RI #: Blue Catalog: Strain: Kuhaylah Kurush
AHSB 5/P123 Alternate Registration #: Notes: from the AHSB,
Vol 5: Dafina was bred in Nejd, and is one of the very few
genuine Kurushieh mares ever imported, as this strain was the property of the
Muteyr tribe and no money would ever induce them to sell a mare.
Dafina
was sent to HM King Ibn Saoud straight from Nejd
to Lady Wentworth through the late Sir Gilbert Clayton. Lady Wentworth sold her
in 1936.
